Rex Dye attended Kent State University and studied at Kentucky Christian College. He received his bachelor’s degree from Great Lakes Christian College with emphasis in New Testament, Theology, and the Humanities. Professor Dye received a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Lincoln Christian Seminary. He began preaching in the early 1960’s. He served a nine-year ministry with Blachleyville Church of Christ, Wooster, Ohio. Professor Dye served numerous short term and supply ministries in Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois and continues to supply preach today. Professor Dye served for a time as Vice-President for Development and Public Relations with Great Lakes Christian College, along with doing some limited teaching. He has served as a professor at NEOBC from its inception. Rex is married to Diane and they enjoy 5 daughters, 17 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. They reside in Wooster, Ohio, where they are members of the Parkview Christian Church. Professor Dye teaches a Sunday school class and Diane assists in the children’s ministry.
