NEOBC is a mission school and is dependent upon the continued generous support from churches and individual members for the continued growth of the school please continue your support and send students
The College is always in need of having work done around the campus. Some of the work projects just require labor while others require materials. If your church could help be sending a crew or by sponsoring a project please call the office for details. You can set your own date and time for the work days.
Please on the first day of class.
If you or some one you know would like to teach, lives within driving distance, holds the appropriate degree and has a heart for training workers, please call for an interview and evaluation. At this time all teaching positions are volunteer.
BAM (Buck A Month) With our BAM program we invite Bible school classes, youth groups, congregations and individuals to support NEOBC as a mission. Your commitment of a dollar a month for at least one year will make a tremendous impact.
Kingdom Builders is for individuals, couples, or families that commit to monthly donations of ten or more dollars per month. We also encourage Kingdom Builders to recruit other Kingdom Builders.
Ambassadors for Christ is for those who are able to give a one time gift of $500.00 to $1000.00. These gifts will be recognized with a silver plate on our Ambassadors Plaque
Tree of Faith givers are those able to give gifts of $1000.00 or more. These gifts will be recognized with a brass leaf on our Tree of Faith.

With all the wonderful things happening at the college there are some disturbing things that concern me about our brotherhood Churches. As I travel I hear of trends that are moving away from the New Testament pattern. Why is it that with all the excellent scriptures concerning salvation that we are slipping into opinions (what I think) and faulty exegetical positions? One of those trends revolves around the fact concerning when the Holy Spirit enters my temple. If anyone has trouble with Acts 2: 36-38 why does not that person allow other scriptures to shed light on the subject? I admit that most of us have divorced verse 36 from verse 38, but that is another concern that I have, not seeing Jesus as Lord and relating it to baptism.
When it comes to salvation we clearly know that a person must be immersed in order to have his sins remitted. Please note not only Acts 2:38, but also Acts 22:16. In case you think praying at an altar or repenting for three days saves you, it did not Paul. For three days after arriving at Damascus he repented, fasted, and prayed, and yet it was Ananias who came in to Paul and said, Arise, and be baptized and wash away your sins. Do we need any more directions than that? Those other activities were great, but those activities did not save Paul or remove his sins.
And what about the receiving of the Spirit? Romans 8:9 is very clear that each one must have the Spirit of God in his life. If Acts 2:38 is not clear enough, then please look at Acts 19:1-6. Paul asked several disciples at Ephesus if they had received the Spirit when they believed. But they did not know the Spirit was even given. Paul then asked concerning into what were they baptized. Note clearly that Paul equated believing or being saved with baptism in that section of scripture. "Did you receive the Spirit when you believed?" "No," they said. " Then into what were you baptized?" It was John's baptism. And since they had not received the Spirit by that baptism he took them and baptized them into the name of the Lord Jesus. Thus they were obedient to the New Testament command to be baptized and they also received the Holy Spirit of God. Then, and please do not be confused, he laid hands on these disciples, so they could have the supernatural gifts, or charismatic gifts, in order to help and aid the very early Church. So my question remains, Why are we departing from such great instruction as we find in Acts.
Please decide in your hearts that it is not what I think or feel or believe, but it is what God's precious word says. 2 Peter 1:20-21 teaches us that no prophecy is the personal opinion of any man, but holy men spoke as they were instructed by God. So, therefore, it is my job to find out what the writer meant. Exactly what did the author intend for this scripture to mean; that is my job. I must find out his meaning and not my opinion.
That is our purpose at NEOBC. We must teach what the Biblical writers are saying and not our opinions. Help us to continue our ministry by praying for us every day. Please have your local congregations and fellow Christians to add us to their prayer lists.

15 He who would confess that Jesus is the son of God, God remains in him and he in God. 16 And we know and have beleived the love that God has in us. God is love, and he who remains in that love remains in God and God remains in him. 17 In this the love of God has been completed among us, so that we have confidence in the day of judgement, because as he is we are in this world. 18 There is no fear in love, rather complete love casts out fear, because fear has punishment and the one who fears has not been completed in love 19 We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:15-19 (Translated directly from the Greek text)
